Fairey Aviation Company factory worker's pin badge

Fairey Aviation Company badge.  Approximately 27 x 23mm.  A scarce factory worker's lapel badge in the form of an inverted triangle.  Chrome plated with 'FAIREY' marked on inset pale blue enamel, a 'silver' aircraft on dark blue enamel and 'HAYES' on the lower dark blue enamelled bar.  Marked to rear 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd. Regent St Birmingham'. Pin fitting.  Fairey Aviation was established at Hayes, Middlesex c.1915.  The company produced many famous aircraft including the WW1 F2.2 fighter, the Firefly, Swordfish, Battle, Fulmar and Barracuda.  Excellent condition.
