Luftwaffe LKpW100 flying helmet
By Karl Heisler. Introduced in 1936, this rare winter pattern helmet from the 100 series is manufactured in brown goatskin leather with the usual lambswool lining. It has brown bakelite earpieces fitted with Siemens receivers and round Mi4a carbon throat microphones. The leather is in excellent supple condition. The straps are equally good and the buckles have only light surface corrosion in places. Excellent lining. The avionics are complete with the longer type wiring loom, throatmicrophones and four-pole break 'bee-hive' coupling. Labelled. A super example of this helmet and an excellent display piece.
