Pilot's Notes for the Operation of the Sabre II Aero-Engine in the Typhoon IA & IB Aeroplane.  P/b, 9 x 14cm, Issue No.1, July 1942, 15pp.  Published by D. Napier & Son Ltd., London W3.  This small booklet provides data on the operational conditions including supercharger speed, RPM, boost, oil and coolant temperatures.  It also gives operating altitudes, fuel and oil specifications, ground running notes, flight notes and a diagram of the engine.  A marvellous little book once owned by a Spitfire and Hurricane pilot.  Purchased directly from his son who joined the RAF in 1963 and flew with 111, 11 and 92 squadrons on Lightnings, Phantoms, Tornadoes, Devons and Chipmunks.  He also flew with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, piloting both the Spitfire and Hurricane.   Stock code P23167.
