Pilot's Engine Running Notes 'Allison' V-1710-F3R Engines in Kitty Hawk Airplanes.  Published by the Curtiss-Wright Corporation Airplane Division, Buffalo, New York.  Two sheets of information printed onto photographic paper.  Approximately 33 x 15cm (max).  They give details for starting, warming-up, take-off, normal flight, landing, and emergencies.  Information on oil pressures and temperatures also provided.  Stamped to rear with RAF Middle Eastern Forces copyright and June 1943 dated.  Folded, some marking and creases.  Good used.  The Curtiss P-40 'Kittyhawk' was used by the RAF and RAAF. This copy belonged to W.R. Johnson, 260 Squadron, Foggia, Egypt.  He completed a full tour on Kittyhawks and Mustangs.  Stock code P24215A-205.
