By G Waddington & Sons Ltd.  Stores reference 22c/65.  Size 2 (67/8 - 7).  The overall appearance is very good to excellent with supple undamaged leather.  Fitted with zipped earpieces, in equally good condition with original zips, both retaining original leather puller tabs.  The right earpiece is slightly unstitched (approximately 12mm) and both receiver carriers have been removed from inside the earpieces.  This isn't seen unless you are looking for them.  Note that both earpieces were padded out with tissue paper for photography purposes.  Both rear straps and chinstrap are excellent, though the latter lacks the metal tip piece.  Both Bennett buckles are excellent with full leather covering.  The chamois lining is undamaged and has less than average soiling.  One of the chamois 'donuts' is rather squashed and both are stitched such that they are 'independent' of the lining - see photos.  Complete with lovely large linen manufacturer's 1940 dated label at the inner crown.  This also has a clear Air Ministry crown stamp with stores reference code beneath.  The velvet forehead strip is partially unstitched at the front but this isn't particularly noticeable and would be an easy fix.  Sold unwired.  Wiring, receivers, microphones and jackplugs can be supplied at extra cost if required.   A very nice Battle of Britain dated helmet.  Stock code H24075.
