By Frank Bryan Limited of London & Worcester.  Stores reference 22c/65.  Size 1 (61/2 - 63/4).  This is an 'as issued' helmet without fitted earpeices or inner donuts.  The overall appearance is very good to excellent with soft, supple leather.  Minor scuffing and wear only.  Both rear straps and chinstrap are excellent, the latter complete with metal tip.  Both Bennett buckles are very good aside from light wear to the leather covering.  The chamois lining is both clean and soft suggesting very little, if any use.  There is a manufacturer's 1940 dated label at the inner crown, a clear A.I.D. stamp and subtle Air Ministry crown stamp.  These helmets were usually modified by the squadron tailor with the addition of zipped earpieces and inner 'donuts' in order to accept receivers/wiring.  'As issued' helmets were also used by S.O.E. agents and Paratroops prior to the introduction of Sorbo helmets.  A very nice example.  Stock code H26962.
