Stores reference 22c/452.  Size 4.  The leather is in good '+' to very good overall condition.  It remains supple with just minor scuffing and wear and has faintly stamped A Crown M and reference codes.  This early example has 3 press studs fitted, making it suitable for the E series and G-type oxygen mask.  All straps are good although the press studs have lost some of their original coatings.  Excellent Bennett buckle and chinstrap, the latter complete with metal end tip and the rubber receiver carriers retain excellent shape and flexibility.  The chamois lining is quite grubby with more rubbing on the earpieces and the back of the neck.  One of the chamois donuts has a small hole as shown.  Indistinctly named/numbered to the original owner.  A linen label stitched in at the crown has King's crown, Air Ministry, size and stores reference details.  Sold unwired.  A good '+' example of this early version of the C-type.  Stock code H27614.
