Stores reference 22c/450, size 2 ( 67/8 - 7). The leather is in variable condition as shown in the photographs. Some panels are good and supple but there is surface damage, notably the main right side panel and front left crown area. This is a scarce very early example with just 2 press studs fitted each side, making it suitable for the E-series oxygen masks. The straps, in 'one-up, one-down' configuration, are very good and the press studs retain most of their original coatings. The Bennett buckle and chinstrap are both very good, the latter complete with metal end tip. Excellent flexible rubber receiver carriers. The chamois lining is undamaged, has less than average soiling and an Air Ministry King's crown label at the crown. Sold unwired. Not without issues but a good display piece. Stock code H24853.
