By Irvin Air Chute (IAC). Stores Ref. 15A/156 (pack alone) or 15A/141 (with canopy). Two point quick connector chest pack. Attaches to the Observer type harness by the engagement of a pair of steel loops with a pair of hooded snap-hooks located on the chest. This example is manufactured in the usual sandy coloured plain weave duck canvas. It is complete with all the webbing grab handles, rip-cord flap and rip-cord handle housing. The large IAC label is marked 'Irvin Air Chute, Aeroplane Type - Two Point Quick Connector'.
The pack is in very good condition although a bit grubby and has at some stage has been marked 'DUMMY' - most of this has been removed but can still be seen if you look. It is fitted with the original/correct metalwork for attaching to the harness, a full set of bungee cords and ripcord/handle. The pack is empty and currently packed out with foam to give shape. Extremely difficult to find. Stock code M18849.
