Approximately 23 x 18cm, 24p. Published 1973. This is the first guide book produced for the then newly opened RAF Museum at Hendon, London. Hendon was chosen due to its long aviation history and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II officially opened the museum on 15th November 1972. At that time the hangars housed just 36 aircraft. The book now gives a nostalgic look back at the how the musuem used to look. Centre page loose but generally in very good condition. Stock code RAFM-1.
