Single typed sheet, 18 x 33cm.  A document from Headquarters, No.3 Group, Bomber Command to Nos. 31, 32 & 33 Bases, RAF Stations Feltwell, Methwold & Tempsford, dated 28th August 1944, regarding bombing attacks in direct support of the army.  Essentially this provides information regarding the fitting of a Master Bomb switch in the navigator's position of all aircraft in operational squadrons.  This was to introduce further checks and reduce the risk of dropping bombs over our own troops when the bomb doors were opened.  The sheet has an official No.33 Base stamp c. 30th Aug 1944 and has been annotated by hand in ink 'W/C Ops - I think you had better instruct Sqdrns to wire switch in 'on' position until Army support attacks are detailed'.  This would rather seem to go against the instructions on the document!  Folded with creasing / dog-eared edges.  Stock code P27183-31.
