Form 3073.  Approximately 21 x 49cm (unfolded).  July 1939 dated with an April 1940 print date.  Flight log with sections to be completed by the bomb aimer during a sortie including names of the pilot/bomb aimer, target, height/position, time of strike, position of strike etc.  The reverse has details to be filled in for dive-bombing.  Excellent unused condition.  Overstamped 'No.5 AIR OBS SCH Jurby'.  RAF Jurby was built in the north west of the Isle of Man and opened in 1939 under the control of No. 29 Group, RAF.  During the war it was home to No. 5 Armament Training Station, No. 5 Air Observer School, No. 5 Bombing & Gunnery School and the Air Navigation & Bombing School, in addition to a variety of operational squadrons.  Rarely found.  Stock code P27183-22.
