Single sheet, typed. Approximately 16.5 x 20cm. Dated 22nd June 1941. A 'Secret' letter sent by the Senior Air Staff Officer at Bomber Command HQ, 3 Group, to RAF Stations Feltwell, Honington, Marham, Mildenhall, Stradishall, Wyton, Oakington and Waterbeach. It states that 'captains of aircraft still continue to jettison all bombs when an operational mission has to be abandoned' and advises that they should be conserved whenever possible. The paper is yellowed and a little creased with dog-eared edges and small filing holes. Annotated and signed. Stock code P27183-60.
