RAF Bomber Command night raid report No.661.  Covers the period 14/15th July 1944 for attacks by the RAF on the marshalling yards at Villeneuve St. George, near Paris, and flying bomb launching sites at Anderbelck and Les Landes on the Channel coast.  Mosquitoes were also sent to attack Hannover.  4 x foolscap sheets that detail the targets, plan of attack, number of sorties/aircraft involved, weather forecast, results of the raids, enemy defences, enemy aircraft destroyed and Allied casualties.  This information is also found in table form and there is a map showing the routes taken to/from the targets.  Information from 'The Bomber Command War Diaries' states that 242 Lancasters and 11 Mosquitoes of 1, 5 and 8 Groups attacked the railway yards which were hit, though many bombs fell off target.  115 aircraft (101 Halifaxes, 10 Mosquitoes and 4 Lancasters) of 4, 6 and 8 Groups attacked the flying bomb site accurately.  Bound with brass paper-fasteners.  Copy No. '12'.  The paper is yellowed and has dog-eared edges/corners.  Interesting original documents relating to Bomber Command sorties over France and Germany.  Stock code P27183-13.
