'In our desire to obviate waste of time, wool, labour and cash often incurred by knitting unsuitable garments, we approached the Royal Air Force Comforts Committee with the result that every garment shown and described in this book has been worked out in the closest collaboration with the RAF Comforts Committee itself'. Comforts Committee Volunteer knitters made garments that were distributed to airmen throughout the country. A little soiled, folded and creased with small edge tears but in perfectly useable condition. Knit yourself a 'flying jersey' this festive season. Stock code P19075.
