RAF Form 2722. Approximately 21.5 x 30cm. This is a folder to contain the flight engineer's notes, observations and details appertaining to the flights undertaken by him and his crew. Details of fuel consumption for the Halifax III bomber with Hercules XVI engines are pasted to the inner cover and another sheet gives maximum permissible bomb loads. Inside there are 5 foolscap sheets giving details of engine limitations for the Hercules 100 engine, Halifax MK.VI engine handling notes and petrol system and manipulation notes. These are all dated 17th February 1945, rather dog-eared and somewhat creased. An interesting lot. Stock code P27183-29.
