'How To Avoid Friendly Flak By Day'.  Paper, approximately 72 x 56cm.  Reproduced by 942nd Engineer Aviation Topographic Battalion, 8th Army Air Force.  This poster was intended to provide information to help prevent loss of aircraft from 'friendly fire' and covers situations in the United Kingdom, over the sea and on the continent.  It gives tips for flying in coastal areas, over restricted and unrestricted waters, over the beaches on 'D' day, over artillery zones, airfields and landing strips etc.  Drawn in cartoon style with humorous illustrations of aircraft, servicemen/women and naked/semi-naked women.  The poster has yellowed a bit, has been folded and has dog-eared edges, corners with some pin holes and loss of paper in places.  A rare find.  Stock code P15226.
