Brass/gilt metal eagle and crown as fitted to the officer rank field service cap. These normally have screw post or lugged rear fixings but this example has a folding pin and the crown is permanently attached via a soldered brass wire. It may have been used as a cap badge or possibly as a brooch. Excellent condition. Stock code U21737.
