Gauntlets, Flying, 1933 Pattern. Stores reference 22c/264/9, size 8. The leather has some soiling, marking and wear but remains flexible and in good '+' overall condition. Fitted with original brass 'Lightning' branded zips, both complete with leather puller tabs and in good working condition. The linings are reasonably clean, have fading Air Ministry King's crown and A.I.D. stamps and, very unusually, have identical contract codes with '39 dates. Also marked with the owner's initials 'AOP'. Although left and right hands were made in separate factories this pair are quite well colour matched too. A good used pair. Stock code GA29467.
