Gauntlets, Flying, 1933 Pattern. Stores reference 22c/269, size 81/2. The leather is in very good supple condition, reasonably clean with light wear and use, mainly on the fingers. The colour match is quite good but although technically the same size, they differ slightly in length. Both original brass 'Lightning' brand zips are in good working condition and retain original leather puller tabs. Each glove has Air Ministry King's crown and A.I.D. marks. One is dated 1939, the other 1940. There are various names/numbers marked on the lining. A good pair of gloves. Stock code GA18837.
