Stores reference 22c/450.  Size 2.  The leather is in good '+' / very good overall condition with minor surface scuffing and marks. Clear, deeply stamped A Crown M and reference codes. All 4 goggle straps are good and the press studs have most of their original coating.  Excellent Bennett buckle and chinstrap complete with metal end tip.  The rubber receiver carriers are a little mishaped but both are fully flexible and return to the correct profile when receivers are in place.   Light to average soiling to the lining but no damage.  A small Air Ministry label is stitched into the crown where the helmet is also named to the owner Fl/Lt. Smith (YFlt).  This came directly from the veteran's family with a quantity of other flying kit but unfortunately they have not supplied any details of his flying career.  Sold unwired.  Good '+' to very good used overall.  Stock code H24456.
