RAF C-type flying helmet, late pattern

Stores reference 22c/880, size 4 (7^3/8-7^1/2).  The leather is supple, clean and  in good/good ‘+' overall condition.  The surface is a little scuffed in places but there are no significant issues.  Stamped with faint stores code and war department broad arrow.  All goggle straps are good and retain most of their original coating on the press studs.  Both rubber receiver carriers are excellent and fully flexible and the lining is complete/undamaged with low to average soiling.  The chinstrap is rather faded/soiled and has little elasticity remaining.  Wired (probably re-wired) with an excellent mid tan coloured loom, type 32 receivers and black cased bell jackplug.  A good ‘+’ used helmet in the largest size produced.  Stock code H24161.
