Stores reference 22c/NIV. Not size marked but probably a '2'. The leather is in very good to excellent overall condition, clean and fully supple. Equally good straps but one of the press studs has been replaced. The chinstrap is rather stretched, lacks elasticity and is a bit ragged. Very good zipped earpieces with fully functioning zips, both complete with the leather puller tag. The lining has light to moderate soiling but no damage. Nice clear RN/FAA 'fouled anchor' stamp. The helmet would be internally wired but is sold unwired and without receivers although it does has the original rubber carriers complete with partial fittings for Gosport tubes. It also has a pair of very crusty foam cushions (shedding dust) and Gosport earpieces in place. This helmet has just two rear goggle straps and one central buckled strap and is of definite wartime manufacture. A very good used example. Stock code H24247.
