Comprises a 5' length of unbraided black rubber oxygen tube with a Mk.3B* (stores reference 6D/101) bayonet connector at one end. Earlier types were covered in braided/woven cloth to help insulate against freezing at altitude. This example was manufactured using an improved rubber compound developed to be more resistant to freezing, thus aleviating the need for any covering. The rubber is nice and flexible but does have quite a lot of surface cracking/crazing. It is faintly marked with green paint bands indicating oxygen use. The 3B* connector is in excellent condition and correctly attached with linen bindings. Now exceptionally rare. Stock code O26866.
