Stores reference 6D/643. Size large. The rubber is a little grubby but remains quite supple and the overall shape is good. Whilst the majority of the mask is free of damage there are issues, most notable being some rubber loss along the right edge (as worn). In addition there is cracking and a glued repair to one nosewire lug and some crazing and perishing around the mask edges. The harness is a bit faded and rather stretched, lacking any elasticity. It is fitted with the earlier pattern flat 'figure 8' mask clip. Lined in rather worn/rubbed brown suede, the edges of which would be improved if glued back down. The mask is fitted with a type 48 microphone assembly (type 26 microphone & loom) complete the 'anti-freeze' gauze plate and retention strap at the back. The microphone rubber sealing ring has hardened and the plug is absent. Not without problems but still a good display piece. Stock code O22332.
