Size Medium. Dated 2-45. (February 1945). Rare wartime dated example of this mask. The rubber facepiece is in good to very good, reasonably clean condition. Overall shape is quite good bar the lower edge folding inwards. The rubber is generally flexible. There is no cracking on the harness retaining lugs over the nose and little sign of stress crazing when flexed. The pearl grey suede lining is complete but quite soiled. Fitted with a type 57 microphone assembly and a pink flecked light tan coloured loom. The harness is complete but faded and with loss of elasticity. One of the original rubber bands remains in place. These late war H-masks are very difficult to obtain now in any condition and are considerably rarer than a G-type mask. Good '+' used overall. Stock code O14393.
