Reference 731. Pair of steel 'loops' used to attach the Observer parachute pack to the harness clips. One end joins to the clips whilst the other is attached to the parachute canopy rigging lines. These are heavily tarnished with pitting and corrosion. In addition, each loop has had a slot cut out of them to render them unserviceable. That said, they can be used for display to fix a pack to a harness. Insert the cut sections into the pack and the damage becomes invisible. Extremely difficult to obtain yet necessary if you want to attach your pack to a harness. Stock code RING-NIV.
