Ultra-rare light green canvas holdall used by the Navigator to carry their chartboard, maps, parallel rules, pencils, protractors, compasses etc. Approximately 50 x 50cm with large single flapped pocket on one side, twin pockets on the other side and two carrying handles. The heavy cotton canvas is faded but quite clean, free of damage and remains very sound with good handles, faded War Department markings, manufacturer's details and 1943 date. Also marked with the letters 'F.Y.' (owner's initials?). A great display piece. These bags are always highly sought after and difficult to find. Stock code M29319.
