Stores reference 1A/3927. Ultra-rare light green canvas holdall used by the Navigator to carry their chartboard, maps, parallel rules, pencils, protractors, compasses etc. Approximately 50 x 50cm with flapped pockets on both sides and two carrying handles. Very faintly stamped with reference codes and War Department broad arrow. The heavy cotton canvas is rather faded and has some marks and stains but isn't too dirty. Overall condition is actually pretty good, the material is completely sound, has no damage and appears to be strong. A great display piece. These bags are always highly sought after and rarely turn up. Stock code M24510.
