British official Air Ministry photograph.  Approximately 20 x 26cm.  Shows a Liberator bomber rounding the mountains of Iceland on a U-boat patrol.  Captioned to rear 'A Liberator anti-U-boat patrol from Iceland.  Far out in the North Atlantic, Coastal Command aircraft keep up a continuous hunt for enemy U-boats and escort convoys bound to and from this country'.  Has been creased left to right approximately 5cm from upper edge.  Also has light soiling and some creasing at the corners but generally quite good.  Stock code P22873-73.
