Original Admiralty press photograph approximately 16.5 x 21.5cm. It is captioned on the rear 'Searcher's Fighter Pilots' and shows Lieutenant Commander (A) M.F. Fell, D.S.O. of British Escort Carrier H.M.S. Searcher. Fell was decorated for his part in the action on the Tirpitz. August 1944 date stamped. A good clear image of Fell in his battledress and 1941 pattern Mae West (c/w knife). Stock code P22873-154.
