RAF 49 Squadron photograph, 1945

Super scarce original squadron photograph showing members of 49 Squadron in front, and on the wings, of a Lancaster bomber at their base at Syerston, Nottinghamshire c. May 1945.  The image is approximately 85 x 26cm and has been framed/glazed (overall size 89 x 30cm).  The photograph has some soiling and creasing throughout with a taped repair on the left side as shown.  Minor frame bruising.  As this is large and glazed it is offered for collection only.  Stock code P27183-38.
