Air Ministry issued private flying licence issued to James Arthur Norris on 15th February 1939. This comes with a photograph album showing his time in the RAF. Approximately 28.5 x 20cm it contains 57 images including air to air shots in an AVRO Anson, a crashed Anson and a Wellington bomber. Others show airmen larking about around a camp wearing service dress with wings visible, some wearing flying kit including 1936 pattern boots, a B-type helmet, D-mask with carbon microphone etc. A few others show period cars. The majority of the photographs are 8.5 x 6cm and 44 have RAF related content. Stock code P19359.
