Large format black and white photograph, approximately 26 x 38cm, with card mount and glazed wooden frame, approximately 38 x 52cm. The photograph shows a newlywed couple, the groom in WW2 period RAF service dress uniform. His King's crown bullion cap badge, pilot wings, VR collar dogs and pilot officer rank lace can be seen clearly. There is a fine set of flat pilot wings carefully inset into the mount beneath the photograph. They could well be the wings worn by the pilot in the photograph. Good condition. Some yellowing/foxing of the mount and the frame has some knocks but the image is in good order. An impressively large piece. Stock code P21308.
