Manufactured by T. J. Smith & Nephew Ltd. Hull.  Olive drab rubberized cotton pouch approximately 13 x 16 x 3cm.  Printed on both sides with a list of contents including Ampoules Syringe, Anti-Burn Gloves, Anti-Burn Jelly In 1oz Tube, 1942 dated First Field Dressing and Safety Pin.  Clear Royal Navy markings.  The pouch has been opened along the top edge but remains good/clean and is clearly dated January 1944.  The original contents are complete and generally in very good condition bar light age related wear.  The 'Monoject' ampoules tin is dated 7/43 and is complete with 1943 dated syringes (will be squeezed/empty) and instruction leaflets.  Carried by each airman.  This Fleet Air Arm version of the First Aid Outfit is significantly rarer that the 'standard' RAF type.   Stock code S19633.
