Manufactured by T.J. Smith & Nephew Ltd. Hull.  Olive drab rubberized cotton pouch approximately 13 x 16 x 3cm.  Printed on both sides with a list of contents including Ampoules Syringe, Anti-Burn Gloves, Anti-Burn Jelly In 1oz Tube, First Field Dressing and Safety Pins. Clear Royal Navy markings.  The pouch is complete although a little grubby/soiled and it is clearly dated JAN. 1944.  This example has been opened but is complete apart from the burn jelly.  The contents show age related wear.  The 'Monoject' ampoules tin is dated 7/43 and is complete with 'squeezed' syringes and instruction leaflets.  Carried by each airman.  This Fleet Air Arm version of the First Aid Outfit is significantly rarer that the 'standard' RAF type.   Stock code S15920.
