This is a tropical variant of the standard aircraft first aid kit bag. Manufactured in off-white cotton canvas rather than the usual olive drab. Approx. 19 x 7 x 20cm. Simple cotton tying tapes in place of the webbing strap and friction buckles. Integral cotton webbing shoulder strap. Various internal dividers/compartments for the medical equipment that would have included bandages/dressings, aspirin tablets, cathartic tablets, chalk and opium tablets, quinine, iodine capsules, morphine ampoules, tourniquet, scissors etc. depending on where the kit was to be used. Stencilled to front 'NH. SK/8, FA. SC. /8, 10. MN. PK'. A bit grubby but undamaged and in very good condition. Empty/no contents. Stock code SNIV-1.
