Lanyard Quick Release Unit. Stores reference 27C/2157. This is the complete unit manufactured in cadmium plated white metal. It consists of two separate sections, one of which is normally attached to the D-ring on a patch stitched to the Mae West or flying suit. The other, housing the release mechanism, is attached to the free end of the webbing lanyard of the type A MK.II, III & B dinghy packs. Light tarnishing but in excellent used condition overall.
