Stores reference 22c/93. Full set of three cotton buoyancy pads used for the 1941 Mae West. Each pad is filled with hand teased Java Kapok. The two 'side' pads are a bit soiled and have some small holes/stains as shown. They have fading Air Ministry King's crown stamps. The kidney shaped 'neck' pad is much cleaner, undamaged, and has War Department broad arrow marks. They differ as they came from two separate Mae Wests but are totally original.
