By Cotton Oxford Shoemakers of Leicester. Size unknown but measure approximately 11.5" from heel to toe externally.  Shearling lined stippled black leather boots. They are similar in style to the official issue 1936 pattern but lack the familiar front 'V' cut and tightening strap.  They also have twin puller straps. Stitched leather soles and rubber heels.  Labels in each boot have manufacturer's details.  Overall condition is good.  The leather appears strong and supple showing just normal wear.  One of the puller straps has come adrift at one end, the others are good.   Both soles and heels are sound and the fleece linings are very good bar some moulting at the upper edges of the right boot.   I am told that an identical pair attributed to a pilot can be seen at the Hawkinge Battle of Britain museum in Kent. An excellent and much more economical alternative to a pair of official 1936 pattern boots.  Stock code B22315.
