Stores reference 5A/2728. The correct 2-piece 'torch' for the 1941 pattern Mae West with a cylindrical metal battery container and separate wooden float. The battery case is in excellent condition with clear Air Ministry crown and reference marks. The float section is equally good and retains both bulb and clear domed cover. Unusually, the wiring is in very good flexible condition without cracking or loss of the rubber covering. Tested with a couple of 'D' cells (not included) and is still in working order.
