Stores reference 22c/751. Size 8. The brown suede uppers are in good '+' condition. The left is extremely clean but the right boot is a bit dirty and rubbed with wear. Please note that some marks seen are not present on the boots but are caused by a camera lens aberration. Both appear to have had some minor restitching around the heel area. The rubber 'galosh' section is near complete and flexible on both boots but the heel sections have been reinforced with a well executed glued patch. The Air Ministry marked 'W' zips work but would benefit from lubrication. It would appear that the boots have been resoled twice, initially with leather and then rubber 'stick-a-soles'. Both heelplates have been replaced at some point. The ankle straps and brass buckles are good and the linings appear to be very good and complete with insoles. With War Department broad arrow, stores reference and size stamps on the zip tongues. Named to two airmen. A reasonably good/good '+' pair of boots. Stock code B25341.
