Stores reference 22c/752. Size 9. The brown suede uppers are in very good undamaged condition with light marking and wear. Note that the odd opaque 'spots' seen in some photos are actually a light/lens aberration and not on the suede. The rubber 'galosh' section is complete and flexible on both boots. The heel sections are quite rigid but this is normal and exactly as they were manufactured. Good working War Department broad arrow marked 'Lightning' zips although strangely they are shorter, or have been shortened at the bottom - see photographs. The original 'Itshide' soles have been covered with 'pinned' rubber soles and the 'Harefoot' heels have added plates at the rear. The ankle straps have surface marking with some cracking on the right boot. The left strap is unattached at the back but both brass buckles are very good bar light verdigris deposits. The linings are generally very good and complete with insoles. War Department broad arrow, size, and A.I.D stamps on the zip tongues along with the owner's initials. Some minor issues but a good looking pair of boots. Stock code B24794.
