Stores Ref. 22c/751. Size 9. The brown suede uppers are in good condition - both boots are somewhat grubby and stained but have no damage. The rubber 'galosh' section is near complete on both boots and is in general quite flexible. There is some hardening and cracking around the toe of the left boot and the rubber has partially separated from the suede in places. Some of the rubber has clearly been re-glued on both boots. The heel sections of both boots are rigid but this is normal and how they were manufactured. Excellent brass 'Lightning' zips with Air Ministry marks. The original 'Itshide' soles and 'Harefoot' heels show a good deal of use and the sole of the left boot has partially separated from the upper. This would be easy to glue back into place if required. The ankle straps have surface cracks and would benefit from an application of leather dressing. The brass buckles are excellent. The linings are very good and complete with insoles. Clear Air Ministry King's crown markings on the zip tongues. A good used pair of boots. Stock code B19712.
