Stores reference 22c/93. Full set of three buoyancy pads. These are the first pattern used for the 1941 Mae West, produced using an internally proofed/rubberized cotton calico similar to those used in the 1932 pattern. Each pad is filled with hand teased Java Kapok. All marked with faint stores numbers and King's crown Air Ministry stamp. Some marks/staining and somewhat crumpled but undamaged and generally in very good condition. Extremely rare to find, these earlier pads are normally associated with the 'Flap Type' variant of the 1941 Mae West. Guaranteed original. Stock code MW27051.
