RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West Stole (Bladder)

Code: MW20376

Sold

Stores ref. 22c/72. Grey rubberized cotton stole for the 1941 pattern Mae West. The material is generally very good and flexible but it does have dye marker stains (not seen when placed into the waistcoat/outer.  The oral inflation tube is very flexible and the valve opens and closes freely.  Fitted with a circlip but no inflation lever or CO2 bottle.  These are currently available to purchase separately. King's crown Air Ministry marked with 8.44 manufacture date and later 1945 inspection date. This would probably still inflate but we advise against this as doing so introduces moisture and can promote internal rotting/perishing. A good late war example. Stock code MW20376.
