Stores reference 22c/72. Grey rubberized cotton stole for the 1941 pattern Mae West. The material is in excellent supple condition and remains fairly clean. Unfortunately the oral inflation tube is rigid but the valve opens/closes freely and the tube is positioned such that it can be inserted into a Mae West. Comes without circlip, inflation lever or CO2 bottle. These may be available to purchase separately. War Department broad arrow marked with clear 3/45 test date mark. It also has a later 1950 inspection date on the back. This stole would probably inflate and hold air but we advise against doing so orally as this will introduce moisture which can lead to internal rotting of the fabric. A good used example.
