RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West
'Life-saving Waistcoat, Stole Inflated'. Stores ref. 22c/447. Size Medium. The cloth is generally in excellent condition, retains good strong colour and is quite clean. A small cut on the left front lobe doesn't detract and could easily be sewn up or invisibly repaired from the rear if required. The Mae West retains all of the leg straps, grab handles, tying tapes, buttons, inflation lever flap, skull cap/heliograph pocket, lanyard and toggle, flotation lamp pocket (faded and with some fraying) and fluorescene flap and strap. Good original brass 'Air Ministry' marked zip. Labelled with War Department broad arrow markings. A really nice example. Stock code MW18633.
