'Life-saving Waistcoat, Stole Inflated'. Stores reference 22c/448. Size large. The cloth is in excellent overall condition. Aside from some marks on the front it is really quite clean, retains good colour and is damage free. The Mae West has all leg straps, both grab handles, tying tapes and original buttons, inflation lever, skull cap/heliograph pocket, flotation lamp pocket and the fluorescene flap/strap - all in excellent condition. Excellent original Air Ministry marked chromed zip. Lovely Air Ministry King's crown label. Although marked as a 'Flap Type' this example was not manufactured as such and the manufacturer was probably using up old labels. An excellent, possibly unused example. Stock code MW18302.
