Stores reference 22c/917-924. The wartime 'escape' pattern flying boot. Unknown size, measuring roughly 32.5cm from toe to heel. I take a '10' and they fit me with some space so perhaps a '10', possibly '11' and would be more generous if the insoles were removed. The suede uppers are very good with only light rubbing and soiling. The strap on the left boot has been replaced at some point, the other strap / both buckles are very good. Both War Department broad arrow marked 'Lightning' zips are very good and the shoe sections are very good to excellent. They have been fitted with rubber soles and new heelplates at some point but appear to have had very little use since then. There is some moulting to the fur linings around the top edge and adjacent to the zip but they are generally pretty good and complete with insoles. A good '+' used pair in a big size.
